"Lava Falls"

An attempt at merging sci-fi with fantasy. Depicted here is an armada of manned "spider-bots" ambushing a volcanic mountain fortress. The concept began as an under-drawing / illustration using charcoal pencils and was going to be painted over with actual paint. This marked the end of my use of the tradition mediums but was the beginning of doing a paint-over in Photoshop.
