Famed Horror Film Composer "Richard Band"

Continuing my series of doing caricatures / cartoon interpretations of well known film composers who specialize mostly in horror or became known mostly for their work in horror despite having composed for other movie genres. This one is of Richard Band who is best known for Re-Animator, From Beyond, Troll, The Puppet Master Movies, Stargate SG-1 the series, and is having a resurgence with lower budget and independent horror films.

My depiction of Richard Band is from my professional working experience alongside him as a music assistant and assistant composer. I joke with him that his gruff nature and isolationist nature while composing reminds me of an isolated monk or Quasimodo from the bell tower of Notre Dame. While I try to bring some the personality traits I exhibited with each composer from repeated interactions with them professionally or as a fan into the art, I also try to incorporate imagery from specific movies they did as well. this one emulates the Spanish inquisition era depicted in The Pit & The Pendulum.
